What does non-fiction mean? What do you think an explanation text could be?
What does non-fiction mean? Non-fiction means that it is factual and true. What do you think an explanation text could be? An explanation text is a piece of non-fiction writing explaining an action process or event in a detailed but simple way. It tells your audience how something works or why something happens. Explanations detail and logically describe the stages in a process, such as the water cycle, or how a steam engine works.
Over the next few weeks we are going to learn how to write an explanation text. You will then write your own explanation text.

The iRobot Cat can be a unique experience without the expense of a real pet. It is an adorable and hygienic friend for life.
