Comma/Literature Bingo With your partner, fold your paper in thirds, then fold it in thirds again to make nine boxes total Fill your boxes with the following categories (but leave room to write an additional sentence): Free Space Compound sentence List/items in a series Non-essential information Introductory phrase/AAWWUBBUS Phrases added on to the end of a sentence Used in dialogue to separate tag Name of city and state Dates separate day and year When you find sentences that fit the category, write them and cite them! Tuesday Warm Up Darius dropped his trash in the cafeteria and tried to pretend he never saw it. When Deja saw what Darius had done she was outraged and she quickly decided to pick up the trash and form a cafeteria clean up club.
