  2. Active to passive Object will be subject + auxiliary verb + V3 + by/ another preposition + Sub will be object form. 1. The old man killed the innocent bird. The innocent bird was killed by the old man. 2. They are drawing pictures. Pictures are being drawn by them. Activities a)The teacher delivered his speeches. b) We shall help the poor. c) He made a basket yesterday. d) Rina has discovered the place.

  6. Activities a)They can write the application. b) We may help them. c) the writer is going to write a poem. d) You should grow rice. e) Everybody should respect our teachers. f) Allah can help us. g) He had to read the newspaper.

  7. Indefinite tense 1. The teacher writes a sentence. 2. He showed a digital banner. 3. We shall enjoy the class. Check your answer 1. A sentence is written by the teacher. 2. A digital banner was showed by him. 3. The class will be enjoyed by us.

  8. Continuous tense 1.They are playing an interesting match. 2. The young man was telecasting the match. 3. We shall be enjoying the match. Check your answer 1.An interesting match is being played by them. 2. The match was being telecasted by the young man. 3. The match will be being enjoyed by us.

  9. Classactivities 1.The old man is creating the problem. 2. He was making the problem. 3. He will be changing the situation. 4. We are calling them. 5. They were writing their applications. 6. They will be singing songs. 7. I shall be making a basket. 8. We were playing football.

  10. Perfect tense 1. I have established an English club. 2. They had joined the club. 3. We shall have arranged a picnic there. Check your answer 1. An English club has been established by me. 2. The club had been joined by them. 3. A picnic will have been arranged by us.

  11. Perfect continuous tense 1.I have been reading the book. 2. He had been writing the book. 3. They will have been enjoying the book. Check your answer 1.The book has been being read by me. 2. The book had been being written by him. 3. The book will have been being enjoyed there by them.

  12. Class activities 1. He has been polluting the environment. 2. They had been creating the smoke. 3. We shall have been cooking our foods. 4. He had been making a fence. 5. The man will have been doing the work.

  13. Double object Object1 + Auxiliary V + V3 + Object2 + by + Object form of object. 1.He gave me an apple. An apple was given me by him. 2.The boy sent him a nice gift. He was sent a nice gift by him. Activities 1.The old man told us a story. 2. He taught us a good lesson. 3. The teacher advised me this.

  14. Reflexive object Subject + Auxiliary V + V3 + by Object. 1. He killed himself. He was killed by himself. 2. The girl fans herself. The girl is fanned by herself. Activities 1. They helped themselves. 2. The man killed himself. 3. She taught herself.

  15. If you get the verbs like as make, hear, feel, compel, know, watch what you will do in passive voice. Object + auxiliary verb + V3 + to 2nd V+ Ex. + by + object form of S 1. He made me drive the car. I was made to drive the car by him. 2. He compelled me do the work. I was compelled to do the work by him. Activities 1. They compelled me read the book. 2. She made me sing a song. 3. I watch him steal the pen.

  16. Adding with participle Object + Auxiliary verb + V3 + Participle + Ex. + Object form of S 1.I heard him talking to you. He was heard talking to you by me. Activities 1.I saw him reading a book. 2. He observed me writing a letter. 3. He told me playing football.

  17. Complex or Compound sentence. 1. I know that he will pass the exam. It is known to me that the exam will be passed by him. Class activities 1.He told me that he did the work. 2. People say that honesty is the best policy. 3. I know him that he is a teacher.

  18. At, to, with, against, can be used in place of by. 1. He annoyed me. I was annoyed with him. 2. The beauty of the girl marveled him. He was marveled at the beauty of the girl. Class activities 1. I know the girl. 2. His behavior surprised me. 3. Panic seized the writer. 4. The parcel contains important materials. 5. The news shocked him. 6. I know the boy.

  19. Imperative Sentence Let + Object + be + V3 Verb + object. 1.Read the book. Let the book be read. 2. Write a letter. Let a letter be written. Class activities 1.Draw a picture. 2. Sing a romantic song. 3. Make big basket. 4. Do your duty.

  20. Do not + Verb + object Let not + object + be + V3. 1. Do not write those letters. Let not those letters be written. 2. Do not drink dirt water. Let not dirt water be drunk. Class activities. 1. Do not hate the poor. 2. Do not misuse the money. 3. Do not do bad work. 4. Do not make the plan.

  21. Active with let 1. Let him select the dress. Let the dress be selected by him. 2. Let her sing a song. Let a song be sung by her. Class activities a) Let them play cricket. b) Let her do the work. c) Let us draw some pictures. d) Let him clean the room.

  22. Interrogative sentence/ Yes/No Question Auxiliary verb+ object will be sub + V3 + by + sub will be obj. form.? 1. Did you play football yesterday? Was football played yesterday by you? 2. Have they made the garden? Has the garden been made by them? a) Are they drawing pictures? b) Do you write the letter? c) Will you borrow my pen? d) Did they bring the admission forms? e) Have they established the college?

  23. Wh-question/ Who By whom+ auxiliary verb + V3+ a) Who has broken the glass? By whom has the glass been broken? b) Who did the work? By whom was the work done? a) Who will do the job? b) Who can bring the flower? c) Who could help the girl? d) Who has created the problem? e) Who will delete the paragraph?

  24. Voice change with what What+ auxiliary verb + V3+ by + object form of sub. a) What do you want? What is wanted by you? b) What are they doing? What is being done by them? Activities a) What did they do? b) What is he reading now? c) What are you looking for? d) What have you eaten ? e) What was cooking there?

  25. Voice change with whom Who + auxiliary verb + V3 + by + object form of sub. a)Whom do you want? Who is wanted by you? b)Whom did you look for? Who was looked for by you? Class Activities a) Whom will you give the pen? b) Whom have you selected? c) Whom will they help him? d) Whom did they like?

  26. Active voice with where a) Where are you living now? Where is being lived now by you? b) Where do you play? Where is played by you? Class activities a) Where have you seen the bird? b) Where did you enjoy the drama? c) What do you do ? d) Who is killing the bird? e) Whom do you look for?

  27. Class exam a) You are telling a story. b) They have established a high school. c) We were making an Almira. d) Who will clean the floor? e) What are you doing there? f) The old man has caught a tiger. g) Did you play the harmonium? h) Do you open the door? i) Have you sung the song? j) Did you catch the bird?
