A controlled crossover study
A randomised control trail
 – (30 volunteers: 18 males + 12 females)
Participants
 (type -2 , 14 participants 10 males + 4 females)
The control group of 16 participants
Randomisation
 (Group A and B of each comprise 15 participants)
The treatment:
 Ginger root powder capsule (1000mg) daily for 4 weeks
 
Before the treatments:
Reference blood samples was taken
Oxidative biomarkers and Lipid profile were measured (GSM, MDA, LDL, HDL)
 
Group A
:  gets the treatments while 
Group B
: Vitamin B

 100mg tablet daily

 After 4 weeks second blood sample was taken
 oxidative biomarkers and lipid profile were measured and compared with initial readings

 then repeated with Group A
