The census and our and responsibilities Our responsibility The community s responsibility Our rights It is every household s responsibility to complete the census so they can help build an accurate picture of who lives in their local area/county/town/city. This helps make sure everyone s rights are protected. The local community and organisations can fulfil their responsibilities better if they know who lives where and what services they need.
