  1. Living in Community Subtitle

  2. Opening Prayer Loving God, help us to deepen our understanding of What it means to live in community. Guide our feet to walk in the ways of Jesus, Who was born in a lowly manger, travelled on foot, walked among the Forgotten and washed His apostles feet. We ask this in the name of Your Son, Who is here among us to remind us how to live in communion With one another. Amen.

  3. Jesus the True Vine John 15:7-11 A reading from the Holy Gospel according to John. Glory to you, O Lord. If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask for whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples. As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you; abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in his love. I have said these things to you so that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be complete. The Gospel of the Lord. Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ.

  4. Prayer of the Faithful Response: Lord, help us live in community with one and all For Church leaders, especially Pope Francis, our earthly model of faithfulness and servant leadership; that they may all continue to spread the Good News of the Gospel, not only by words, but also by action, we pray to the Lord, Lord, help us live in community with one and all For our communities, our Indigenous Peoples, our province, our country, all people of the world; that all may humbly work together with respect and understanding, not with pride in power, as we work for the common good, we pray to the Lord, Lord, help us live in community with one and all

  5. Prayer of the Faithful (Contd) Response: Lord, help us live in community with one and all For our Catholic schools especially (insert school name), that the Holy Spirit may guide us to serve with compassion and kindness in our school community, hearing the words of Jesus and seeing the face of Jesus in all members, we pray to the Lord, Lord, help us live in community with one and all For our students and staff; that we may stand in solidarity to act with justice in bringing about healing, reconciliation, fairness and peacemaking in our schools and throughout the world, we pray to the Lord, Lord, help us live in community with one and all

  6. Closing Prayer O God, our Loving Creator, O Jesus, our Master Teacher, O Holy Spirit of Wisdom, Of all the gifts You give us, the greatest is love. Open our eyes to see, our ears to listen, our minds to learn, Our hearts to be accepting of others and our hands to be more Giving toward those in need; the lonely, the lowly and the least. Amen.
