  1. We are called to give God our best

  2. The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it. G e n e s i s 2 : 1 5 ( E S V )

  3. So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 1 C o r i n t h . 1 0 : 3 1 ( E S V )

  4. One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. The one who observes the day, observes it in honor of the Lord. R o m a n s 1 4 : 5 - 6 ( E S V )

  5. The one who eats, eats in honor of the Lord, since he gives thanks to God, while the one who abstains, abstains in honor of the Lord and gives thanks to God. R o m a n s 1 4 : 5 - 6 ( E S V )

  6. For you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. 1 C o r i n t h . 6 : 2 0 ( E S V )

  7. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. C o l o s s i a n s 3 : 1 7 ( E S V )

  8. No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God's seed abides in him, and he cannot keep on sinning because he has been born of God. 1 Jo h n 3 : 9 - 1 0 ( E S V )

  9. By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother. 1 Jo h n 3 : 9 - 1 0 ( E S V )

  10. From the moment that we wake up all the way till we go back to sleep, we need to be in constant effort to glorify God in everything we do.

  11. We are called to give God our best What we give God has consequences

  12. For even when we were with you, we would give you this command: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat. 2 T h e s s . 3 : 1 0 ( E S V )

  13. The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty. P rov e r b s 2 1 : 5 ( E S V )

  14. For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, H e b r ew s 1 0 : 2 6 ( E S V )

  15. Commit your work to the lord, and your plans will be established. P rov e r b s 1 6 : 3 ( E S V )

  16. Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it. P rov e r b s 1 3 : 1 1 ( E S V )

  17. Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. R o m a n s 1 0 : 9 ( E S V )

  18. God rewards those who do their best in committing there work to him.

  19. Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw each one's work will become manifest, 1 C o r i n t h . 3 : 1 2 - 1 4 ( E S V )

  20. for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. 1 C o r i n t h . 3 : 1 2 - 1 4 ( E S V )

  21. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. R o m a n s 8 : 1 8 ( E S V )

  22. Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. M at t . 6 : 1 9 - 2 1 ( E S V )

  23. We are called to give God our best What we give God has consequences We do good works to glorify God

  24. And when you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. M at t . 6 : 1 6 - 1 8 ( E S V )

  25. But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. M at t . 6 : 1 6 - 1 8 ( E S V )

  26. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, M at t . 6 : 3 ( E S V )

  27. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. M at t . 5 : 1 6 ( E S V )

  28. Good works that are done with a desire for self-glorification rather than Gods, are sin. The good work itself isn t sin but the desire behind it is sin.

  29. We are called to give God our best What we give God has consequences We do good works to glorify God God helps us persevere in giving our best

  30. Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. R o m a n s 8 : 2 6 ( E S V )

  31. Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. 1 C o r i n t h . 1 2 : 4 - 7 ( E S V )

  32. Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life. P s a l m s 5 4 : 4 ( E S V )

  33. So we can confidently say, The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me? H e b r ew s 1 3 : 6 ( E S V )

  34. And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. P h i l i p p i a n s 4 : 1 9 ( E S V )

  35. We can choose to give God our best We are called to give God our best What we give God has consequences We do good works to glorify God God helps us persevere in giving our best
