  1. From Peter, apostle of Jesus Christ To God s chosen people who live as refugees scattered throughout . . . May God s grace and peace be multiplied to you. 1 Peter 1:1 (NLT)

  2. [you greatly rejoice that God has given you a living hope] . . . though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 1 Peter 1:6 (NIV)

  3. These have come so that your faith of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. 1 Peter 1:7 (NIV)

  4. Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. 1 Peter 4:12-13 (NIV)

  5. Your suffering will lead to God s glory if you. . . Keep obeying Jesus Keep your identity in Jesus Keep loving like Jesus

  6. Keep obeying Jesus (It will purify you) Keep your identity in Jesus (It will position you) Keep loving others like Jesus (It will propel you)

  7. But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare to others the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 1 Peter 2:9 (NIV)

  8. Your suffering will lead to God s glory if you. . . Keep obeying Jesus Keep your identity in Jesus Keep loving like Jesus

  9. Jesus taught Peter . . . Jesus entered our sick world to save us The Resurrection & Holy Spirit are the only things that cause us to see

  10. Jesus taught Peter . . . You must decide that you have been blind & want to change source Since Jesus is eternal, so will your peace and victory regardless of suffering

  11. This fills us with a living hope, and so we look forward to possessing the rich blessings that God keeps for his people. He keeps them for you in heaven, where they cannot decay or spoil or fade away. They are for you, who through faith are kept safe by God s power 1 Peter 1:3-5 (GNT)

  12. Make your goal during this Coronavirus crisis to change your source not just end your suffering
