Slide Note

This week the Lake Michigan Committee (comprised of Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, and 1836 Tribal Nations) announced a stocking plan to help balance predator demand in Lake Michigan with available prey.

The committee has successfully managed previous imbalances by reducing Chinook salmon stocking three times since 1999.
