Plenary 1 RI Prez. Gary Wong Light up Rotary! Every member of his family is a Rotarian And pretty well every person he meets he makes a Rotarian 4% membership increase in past year. Most in 14 years $220 million contributions to RI Foundation ($12 M more than last year)
Light up Rotary (contd) Wants every Rotarian to see what he has seen Clean water Dental care US families who now have enough to eat Hearing it 100 times is not as good as seeing it once if everyone could see what he had seen, wouldn t have a membership issue
Light up Rotary (contd) We are everywhere more places than the UN Polio No new cases in India in 4 years Pledges from governments of remaining 3 countries to put full government support behind cause No cases of polio in Africa in 10 months Polio-free by 2018 Better to light a single candle than sit and curse the darkness.

The BIGGEST Pride Parade IN THE WORLD?!?!
Plenary 3 (not quite as many cross- dressers) Focus on peace Oscar .. Most precious war is war against war. Desperation of poverty will always drive people into conflict. Today is a day of hope because of the ocean of leaders who have swept into Sao Paulo and because of RI. Day of hope because of Oscar because he is now a Rotarian.
Plenary 4 Focus on the Future RI Secretarial Update Social media amazing. 16 million users in 2014 Huge media recognition for work and for admin of RI Nothing in Rotary so sacred it cannot be set aside. Are we still relevant? Attendance, fees, Rotaractors We can change tradition we made it, so it s ours to change

And now you have been given this great gift: the gift of a year to take all of your talents, all of your gifts everything that you are and can become and BE A GIFT TO THE WORLD. Or be batman. LOL
