  2. When did it start World war two started on the third of September 1939, Britain and France declared war on Germany. Many people in Germany were very unhappy after World War 1 because they got defeated and had to pay all the other countries who had won the war. Land also got taken away from Germany , including all the colonies they owned in Africa. The most major countries involved in the second war were Britain France Soviet Union USA Germany Italy Japan

  3. Adolf Hitler Adolf Hitler was a German politician and leader of the Nazi Party. He rose to power as the chancellor of Germany in 1933 .During his dictatorship from 1933- 1945, he initiated World War two in Europe by invading Poland on the first of September 1939. He was closely involved in military operations throughout the war and was central to the perpetration of the Holocaust. Hitler was born in Austria , he was raised near Linz, which is a city in upper Austria. He moved to Germany in 1913 and was decorated during his service in the German army in WW1. in 1919, he joined the German workers party[DAP], the precursor of the NSDAP, and was appointed leader of the NSDAP in 1921. in 1923, he attempted to seize power in a failed coup in Munich and was imprisoned. In jail, he dictated his autobiography Mein Kampf [ My Struggle ].after his release in 1924, Hitler gained popular support by attacking the treaty of Versailles and promoting pan-Germanism.

  4. The Star of David is a generally recognized symbol of modern Jewish identity and Judaism. Under Hitlers rule the laws were that if you were a Jew you had to wear the star anywhere you went, so that the soldiers would know to treat you differently. They treated the Jews very badly from the other people. They would use them for slavery and other cruel jobs. The Star of David

  5. Holocaust The holocaust was the WW2 genocide of the European Jews . Between 1941 and 1945, across German- occupied Europe , Nazi Germany and its collaborators murdered six million Jews for who they were. Hitler set up Concertation camps or death camps, Hitler s army told all the Jews that they are going on vacation but they were actually bringing them to the camps. In those camps they done a lot of horrible jobs like cleaning the toilets and digging holes ext. , How most people would have died was from starvation , execution , being sent to the gas chambers, suffocation ext.

  6. End The war ended on the second of September 1945. It ended with the unconditional surrender of the axis powers. On may 8th1945, the Allies accepted Germanys surrender , about a week after Adolf Hitler committed suicide.VE day- victory in Europe celebrates the end of the second world war.
