2D Plots 2D Plots Top Mass vs Topbar Mass: Signal Single Top
Boosted decision trees Tried to use Boosted decision trees : Issue : Signal Efficiency: test sample(training sample)
Kinematic Fitting Kinematic Fitting 4-Mometum Component of each Final state After and Before Fitting : When it succeed !!
Lepton Energy results Lepton Energy results Without Kinematic Fitting : With Kinematic Fitting : For the jets : the fitting fails to deliver the desired result Because : - Setting Soft Constraints implies Big probability to fail. - Absence of Neutrino 4 Component.
Z Mass Measurement Z Mass Measurement The proposal is to investigate how the measured mass of the Z boson changes when different assumptions about the Z boson's width are made during the analysis. Where the width of Z can be treated in several ways during the fitting process : Fixed to the World Average: The width is set to a constant value known from previous measurements and world averages. *(W mass). Constrained to Follow the mZ Value of the Fit: The width is allowed to vary in a way that is theoretically constrained by the fitted mass (mZ) of the Z boson. Fitted in the Fit Simultaneously but Independently of the Mass: The width is treated as an independent parameter in the fit, meaning it is allowed to vary freely without any direct constraints imposed by the mass.
Z Mass Measurement Workshop Z Mass Measurement Workshop Measurement of the Z-Boson Workshop will be hold : from 19 To 20 March. The workshop will have a Mini-tutorial about statistical analysis (hands-on) :
