Agenda Scholarship Social Probation Community Service Acceptance Letters AF term 4 Obligations Exemptions
Scholarships Local Scholarships (recipients chosen by organization) individual application needed for each. Application will be on our school website May require essay Transcript required Winthrop High School Scholarships (recipients chosen by WHS Scholarship committee) Only exit survey is needed. Exit survey will be completed as a group during an upcoming advisory Town Scholarship, Facella Scholarship, Tacelli Scholarship (Recipients chosen by Winthrop Town Scholarship Committee) Application needed, found on our website Essay Transcript needed
Social Probation Policy Students who have violated the Code of Conduct are subject to being placed on Social Probation. Pranks will be considered a violation of the Code of Conduct. Social Probation limits the student s privilege of attending school sponsored events such as dances, proms, and other related activities. Students who have incurred multiple infractions and/or suspensions are subject to being placed on Social Probation. Seniors, who are suspended after April 1st, will lose one senior privilege up to all senior privileges depending on the infraction.
Community Service Seniors need to submit all their hours to guidance by April 13. Community service hours are listed by student I.D. in the guidance hallway Community service hours are posted on transcript
Acceptance Letters Please bring acceptance letters to guidance. They will be posted in foyer.
AF Term 4 Term 4 AF will turn into 59 permanently
Obligations Cromebook collection will be the week before final exams. May 14- 18, 2018 Outstanding uniforms, fees, cafeteria bills, books must be settled before receiving cap and gown. Cap and gown will not be distributed if there is an outstanding obligation.
Exemptions On May 18, 2018, if you have a 90% or above (year to date average) in a class, you will be exempt from taking the exam. All students will need to report to the scheduled exam regardless of taking exam or not.
