Our Calling and Election Knowing Christ knowledge of Him who called us (2 Peter 1:3) Based upon Christ s glory and virtue (Eph. 1:6-7) Granting precious and exceeding great promises (Eph. 1:13-14) Becoming partakers of the divine nature holiness, escaped the corruption of sin (2 Pet. 1:4, Eph. 1:4) What is my next step? Is not my calling and election already sure?

If you do these things If you do these things You shall never stumble (2 Pet. 1:10) Richly supplied unto you the entrance (2 Pet. 1:11) into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ God has done His part in Jesus Christ we must be diligent in doing our part!
Be established in truth of Christ The story of Jesus is not a fable- take heed to Him eye- witness testimony fulfilled prophecy (2 Pet.1:12-15; 16-18, 19-21)
Beware of false teachers teaching destructive heresies you return to what you escaped last state worse than first. (2 Peter 2:1-2; 18-19; 20-22)
Beware of those mocking the Lords second coming He has not fulfilled His promise after all this time The Lord is not slack concerning his promise prepared by living holy lives and growing (2 Pet.3: 3-4, 11, 17-18)
What we believe and how we live will determine if we make our calling and election sure! God has done His part in Christ take the next step and do your part grow spiritually in Christ !
