Overview of Scholarship Doctoral study at Japanese universities, exclusively for graduates from master s programs of IITH in science and technology (graduation by July 2024) Aiming to establish sustainable academic and industrial research collaborations between India and Japan Full scholarships for three (3) years for doctoral programs from October 2024 or 3.5 years for enrollment as a research student in October 2024, followed by a doctoral program from April 2025 Number of scholarships: about 8 Field of study: Science and Technology 2
Application Application Open: Mid-September (TBD) Deadline: 23:59 IST, 15th December 2023 Important points of application Letter of Acknowledgement by both the supervisor at IITH and the prospective supervisor(Note) in Japan Potential ability to conduct research at Japanese universities based on the research experiences at IITH, especially participation in the joint research with the prospective supervisor as part of master s research at IITH Selection: Document screening and an interview Announcement of the final result: by January 31, 2024 3
The following must be attached: Certificate of Grade Point Average of bachelor s and master s degree - Copy of Master s Degree Certificate or Letter of Completion from IITH - Health Certificate from IITH or other medical institutions (issued within one year) - Copy of Passport (If applicable) - 4
