The Centralized Benefits Unit in HR provides valuable benefits related information and employee support
services for UC Merced staff and faculty employees.  This support focus aligns with pertinent governing
requirements within associated Federal, State, University Policies, and Collective Bargaining Agreement
resources.

Counsels and provides group insurance Information and assistance to employees, dependents,

Talent Acquisition Services provides services to the campus on a full range of employment issues
including recruitment, hiring, and policy interpretation.  Talent Acquisition Services assists campus
departments and job seekers in the application of employment policies and procedures, programs and
fair hiring practices.
