Importance of Reporting COVID-19 Cases & Vaccination Status Such Reporting is Important on Individual and UN System Level Case & Vaccination Status Reporting is Complex due to Multiplicity of UN Entities and Medical Services Case Reporting is Historic - Represents first time an anonymous database for disease surveillance is established for decision- making across All UN Common System entities Case Reporting affects Resourcing for Your Duty Station (e.g. it is factored into prioritization of countries to receive UN vaccines) Reporting of your vaccination status helps us understand overall % of vaccinated persons amongst our UN family. This may affect the lifting of COVID-19 precautionary measures at a later stage. COVID-19 Case & Vaccination Status Reporting all depends on YOU! 1
What Type of COVID-19 Cases Should Be Reported & In Whom? All COVID-19 cases, whether mild or severe, that have been laboratory-confirmed should be reported Cases occurring amongst UN personnel and/or dependents should be reported 2
Entities Where Cases/Vaccination Status Should Be Reported Into Self- Reporting Earthmed Portal https://medical.un.org UN Secretariat, UNDP, UN Women, UNFPA, UNICEF, IAEA, ITC, WIPO, CTBTO, UNIDO Entities Where Cases/Vaccination Status Should Be Reported To Their Own Medical Director / Services WHO, IOM, IMO, WFP, FAO, PAHO, UNHCR, ILO, UNESCO 3
Entities Whose Staff & Dependents Need To Self-Report Cases or Vaccination Status into EM Portal https://medical.un.org Please contact osh@un.org if any issues with access to portal 4
Entities Where Cases / Vaccination Status Should Be Reported To Their Own Medical Director/Services Staff from these entities who have COVID-19 should either: 1. inform their local UNDP Clinic Doctor/CMO to enter the case/vaccination status into Earthmed; or 2. If no local UN Clinic doctor/CMO, your Office/Country Representative should provide you clear instructions from your respective entities medical directors/services on how to report (DHMOSH can provide list of medical directors /services contact as needed.) 5
UNOPS UNOPS staff cannot self-report into Earthmed portal Such staff who have COVID-19 should email directly to osh@un.org 6
