HART migration to the Oracle Analytics Server includes information, timelines, and changes. The migration will be completed by April 12, 2021, and users need to complete tasks related to customizations before the migration. Existing customizations will be migrated to the new platform while new customizations can be created post-go-live on April 12th.

HART Migration to the Oracle Analytics Server The Harvard Analytics and Reporting Tool, powered by OBI, will be migrated to the Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) HART in OAS will be available to all users on Monday, April 12, 2021 FY21 OAS Migrations HART on OAS The migrated version moves HART to the Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) and becomes the first administrative reporting system to move onto the new platform. No March HART Release In order to focus all attention on release activities, there will be no HART release in March 2021. The April Release is tentatively scheduled for April 30th. Additional Migrations Following the HART Migration, the program team will then move to migrate the remaining ATS OBI reporting systems which include Student Information Analytics (SIA) enterprise and self-service reports and the additional content from the ATS BI Publisher instance. 4

Migrated Customizations Existing Customizations will be Migrated to HART in OAS All customizations saved in the current HART before March 26th will be migrated and available in the upgraded version of HART Any customizations created in HART between Saturday, March 27th-Sunday, April 11th will NOT migrate, so there is no value to creating any during this period All migrated customizations are expected to work as usual You can start to create new customizations as soon as go-live day, April 12th 6
Bookmarks Convert Bookmarks to Customizations! It is strongly recommended that if you sent a HART bookmark to someone or received a HART bookmark and have not saved it as a personal customization, it should be saved as a customization before March 26th This will allow it to be migrated as a customization and you will have it available to you in HART OAS 7
Last Date that New Users/Changes to Existing Users will be Processed until HART Migration to OAS To facilitate the migration process, any requests for new HART users or changes to existing HART users will be held by Client Services from Friday afternoon, March 26, 2021 until Monday, April 12, 2021. Client Services is communicating detailed user security information concerning the HART Migration to Authorized Requestors this week. Authorized Requestors will continue to submit requests for new users and changes to existing users to Client Services using a revised user request form. Any requests made March 26 April 9 will be processed so that access will be available on Monday April 12, 2021 8
Unchanged Functionality HART Functional Areas You should be able to successfully use all the commonly used features of HART this functionality and the way you perform these functions today has not changed Login via HarvardKey Access a dashboard from the Dashboards Menu Enter prompts and execute a dashboard Access Help documentation via the Need Help? link Include a column Exclude a column Move a column to prompts Move a column to sections Sort dashboard results Add secondary sorts Move columns to the right and left Add a subtotal and/or grand total, if appropriate Create a customization After creating a customization, applying that customization Creating a bookmark link Export results from the Page Options menu at the top of the page Export results from the bottom of the page, under the search results Export results to the TLX Macro Use drill-through, if the dashboard has that ability (e.g., Travel and Expense Dashboard, Concur ID on Transaction Listing) and existing customizations saved by 3/26 will work!!! 10
Look and Feel, URL, Home Page New HART Color Scheme There will be a new look and feel to HART. These changes will be shared with users during the upcoming HART Migration Webinars. Today, you will see a glimpse of OAS as it looks out of the box from Oracle in the screenshots we are about to share with you The URL for HART is not expected to change: It will remain the same and our team will continue to test this to make sure it will not change. New Welcome Page: There will be a new welcome page that will reflect the fact that HART is now part of an overall administrative reporting system. This page will also be introduced at the webinars. New Design for Status Page: The page that appears after 8 pm that advises users that HART dashboards are being updated will remain but will likely change in the future as new administrative systems are brought into OAS. 12
HART Changes in OAS Prompts (Change) Dashboards Affected: All FIN CORE Dashboards that contain Role Selection Prompt Current: Default role populates, and user clicks Apply (unless they want to change the role). Future: Apply button remains greyed-out until role is selected This will be required even if you only have one role 14
HART Changes in OAS Prompts (Change) Dashboards Affected: All FIN CORE Dashboards that contain Role Selection Prompt Transaction Listing (All Versions) Budget & Actual Comparison (All Versions) GL Account Monitoring Dashboard Fund Management Dashboard No other HART Dashboards require the Two Apply buttons Additional Information: If you open the dashboard and want to run a saved customization, simply apply the customization; there is no need to select any Apply buttons After you run the dashboard the first time, if you then change the prompts and re-run the dashboard, you do not need to re-select the role If you leave the dashboard, go to another dashboard, and then return to the dashboard, you WILL need to re-select the role again even if you are in the same HART session. 15
HART Changes in OAS Prompts (Fix) Dashboard Affected: Certain FIN CORE Dashboards GLAM Fund Management Budget and Actuals Comparison Budget and Actuals Comparison - Limited Comp Current: Period values have to be selected from pick-list (can not type them in). If typed, dashboard returns Error. Future: OAS dashboard returns expected results when Period values are typed in. 16
HART Changes in OAS Prompts (Enhancement) Dashboard Affected: All Future: Matching selections auto-populate as values are typed. Hitting the Enter key will select the value, no need to mouse-click selection. Current: Values have to be typed in completely and correctly (i.e., case/space sensitive). 17
HART Changes in OAS Search Dialog Box (Enhanced) Current Search Dialog Box Defaults to Starts Requires you to click Search Match Case is automatically checked off 18
HART Changes in OAS Search Dialog Box (Enhanced) Dashboard Affected: All Enhanced Searched Dialog Box Values auto-populate as input is entered. User does not need to click the "Search" button for results to render. Search field defaults to "Contains" the value entered, rather than "Starts" with value. "Match Case" checkbox defaults to "unchecked" and is not case sensitive. 19
HART Changes in OAS - Right-click Functionality Dashboard Affected: All The handle to move a column when you point to it with your mouse is a bit more aesthetically pleasing. Future Current Note: we expect other slight changes like this once a final decision is made on overall look and feel. 20
HART Changes in OAS Page Options Menu Icon Dashboard Affected: All The icon for the Page Options Menu, used to create customizations, bookmarks and print and export dashboards, will be changing to something more intuitive. Future Current Note: we expect other slight changes like this once a final decision is made on overall look and feel. 21
HART Changes in OAS - Multiple Page (Enhancement) Dashboard Affected Dashboards having multiple pages such as, GL Account Monitoring, Change in Net Assets and numerous others. Future Graphical tabs are replaced with text/hyperlink style Current . 22
HART Changes in OAS Export (Enhancement) Dashboard Affected: All Future Change: Users will see two menu options in the Export link at the bottom of the page: Formatted and Data. Opening these menus will provide options you see today; an Excel option has been added to Data. Future: Formatted and Data options are sorted under separate menu options. Ability to export Excel as "Data" which will remove headers, footers and other formatting. Leading zeroes will not be removed and all 80+ columns will export using this option. Users of the TLX Macro should continue to use the Data>CSV Option as the Period value in the Data>Excel option will NOT WORK with the Macro. . Current 23
HART Changes in OAS Dashboard List Selection (Change) Dashboard Affected: Dashboard Interface Future Change: Mouse-wheel no longer navigates list of Dashboards. User will need to use up and down arrows to navigate the list . 24
HART Changes in OAS Other Dashboard Area Dashboard Affected Change / Fix Period Picklist Several dashboards including Transaction Listing Change: Displays all periods of data instead of last five years. Double-Down Arrow Several dashboards including Transaction Listing Fix: Currently when clicking on double-down arrow icon the page "hangs" and does not complete the function, or only returns a portion of the rows (not all). This behavior has been fixed. . 25
