  1. How to Send a Tk20 Link to Mentors to Access Intern Field Experience Binders

  2. While in Tk20, the first Field Experience tab (indicated by the red arrow) displays a list of individual students. Each student s field experience binder can be opened by clicking on their name.

  3. In order to send the mentor a link to access their interns binder, you must select the second Field Experience tab. Here you will see the name of the course field experience binder. *If a student purchases their Tk20 account after the field experience binder has been sent to the course, an additional binder must be sent individually. This is why you may see multiple binders for the same course.

  4. Next, select the appropriate intern to open their field experience binder.

  5. Once you have opened the students binder, scroll down to the Mentor Teacher Forms on the right-hand side of the page. When you have clicked the Send Link, a pop-up message is displayed indicating that an email has been sent to the mentor.

  6. When a mentor uses the link, it takes them directly to their interns documents. This is an example of the mentor s view.

  7. NOTES: The link can be sent repeatedly throughout the semester but it is good practice for mentors to save the email to their desktop for easy access. Mentors should receive the link within a few minutes of you sending it. If they do not, they should check their SPAM or JUNK folder. Mentors should use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox to access Tk20. Internet Explorer does not work well with Tk20. If Internet Explorer is their default browser, they will need to cut and paste the link into one of the browsers identified above.
