for flat amount and fees) and small stipend
.25 FTE grad staff position = 10 hrs. work/week
Competitive: PNW does not offer graduate staff
positions to all students; start with your home

Plans of Study—Degree-Seeking
Graduate education is controlled by a 
plan of
study
 or degree requirements which set out
which courses you will take to earn your
degree, along with any other requirements for
graduation/degree
ePOS is the 
electronic Plan of Study 
system,
and can be found through myPNW portal
(Plan of Study Generator) on the Graduate
School tab
Plans of Study
ePOS will be available to new students 
after
about 1 semester of enrollment
ePOS instructions are available on the
websites and academic programs also have

Credit hours required for your program vary
by degree
Thesis, non-thesis, coursework-based
Academic Expectations
Graduate students are expected to maintain a
“B” (3.0/4.0) cumulative graduate GPA
Must have a 3.0 average to graduate
Some programs do not allow “C” grades on
plans of study; some do allow 1-2 “C” grades
If you do have “C” grades, you will need to
offset those with “A” work to maintain 3.0 GPA

Students may park in open lots and the
parking garage
Gated lots are for employees and require a

Some posted faculty/staff spots are open to
students after 4:30pm
PNW Inter-Campus Bus Service
PNW offers bus transportation between our two campuses.  Two ADA-
compliant, 24-passenger buses will depart and travel concurrently non-stop
from each campus, proceeding back and forth six times daily (Monday –
Friday).  Each campus-to-campus trip is scheduled to take one hour or less.
Departure from each campus (Hammond-Lawshe Hall & Westville-DSAC) will
occur every 2 hours as follows:  7:00am, 9:00am, 11:00am, 1:00pm, 3:00pm,
and 5:15pm.  The final daily arrival at each campus is expected between
6:00pm and 6:15pm.
Students, faculty and staff members may ride the Inter-Campus Bus Service at
no charge by displaying their university ID card.  Service to the Portage
Meeting Facility, for meetings and events, will be provided to  and from the
site by request only.   Visit

 for the service
schedule.
