Land Acknowledgement We would like to acknowledge that we are here to pay respect and recognize that this is the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nations, and we are here because this land was occupied. In recognizing that this space occupies colonized First Nations territories, and out of respect for the rights of the Indigenous people, it is our collective responsibility to recognize our colonial histories and present-day implications and honour, protect and sustain this land.

5. Ontario Secondary School Diploma What you need to graduate To earn a high school diploma in an Ontario Catholic Secondary School, students must: earn 22 compulsory credits earn 8 optional credits pass the literacy requirement complete a minimum of 40 hours of community involvement activities

6. Students in a Catholic Secondary School must earn the following 22 compulsory credits to get their Ontario Secondary School Diploma: 4 credits in Theology (1 credit per grade) 4 credits in English (1 credit per grade) 3 credits in Mathematics (at least 1 credit in Grade 11 or 12) 3 credits for Group 1, 2 and 3 courses (1 credit in each Group) 2 credits in Science 1 credit in Canadian History (Grade 10) 1 credit in Canadian Geography (Grade 9) 1 credit in the Arts 1 credit in Health and Physical Education 1 credit in French as a Second Language 0.5 credit in Career Studies 0.5 credit in Civics Compulsory Credits

New Course to Cabot for Grade 12 ETS 4C/4U Grade 12 Literature Studies Horror Students will look at the changing nature of monsters that presented a threat to different decades of people: the first horror movies of the silent era, the monsters, vampires, and werewolves of the 30s and 40s, the fear of possessed children in the 70s, psycho-killers of the 80s and 90s, contagion and post-apocalyptic horror of the present.

15. Communications Technology Print and Graphic Communications TGG 3M Grade 11 Print & Graphic Communications This course examines communications technology from a media perspective. Students will develop knowledge and skills as they design and produce media projects in the areas of live, recorded, and graphic communications. These areas may include TV, video, and movie production; radio and audio production; print and graphic communications; photography; digital imaging; broadcast journalism; and interactive new media. This course provides an emphasis on Print and Graphic Communications

Hospitality and TourismBaking TFB 3E Grade 11 Hospitality and Tourism: Baking Students will learn how to prepare, present, and serve food using a variety of tools and equipment, and will develop an understanding of the fundamentals of providing high-quality service to ensure customer satisfaction and the components of running a successful event or activity. This course provides an emphasis on Baking

ScienceEnvironmental Science SVN 3E1 Grade 11 Environmental Science Students will explore a range of topics, including the impact of human activities on the environment; human health and the environment; energy conservation; resource science and management; and safety and environmental responsibility in the workplace. Technological Education Hairstyling and Aesthetics TXJ 3E/4E Grade 11/12 Hairstyling and Aesthetics These courses presents hairstyling, make-up, and nail care techniques from a salon/spa perspective. Using materials, processes, and techniques used in the industry, students learn fundamental skills in hairstyling, giving manicures and facials, and providing hair/scalp analyses and treatments.

19. 2 Credit Coop / 4 Credit Coop Students earn cooperative education credits by integrating classroom theory with planned learning experiences in the community to achieve learning based on the curriculum expectations of the related course. Placements should provide students with challenging opportunities to apply and extend the knowledge, and practice and refine the skills, acquired in the related course and to demonstrate achievement of placement expectations that reflect current workplace practices and standards.
