WHAT IS A COVENANT?

A covenant is an agreement between two
or more people to do a particular thing.
Both parties have roles to play in order to
keep the covenant.
It is different from an ordinary promise,
whereby only the person who promises has
a role to play – to fulfil the promise.

NOAH
 – After the destruction
of the world, God told Noah,
who was a righteous man,
that He would never destroy
the world with a flood again.
Since then, God has kept His
word. The sign of the
covenant (rainbow) still
appears in the sky after a
heavy downpour.
No matter how heavy the
flood is, it cannot destroy the
world. Our God is faithful.
