It means men and women do not have equal
access to society’s resources
.
Males are provided with more power,
prestige, privilege and respect than the
female sexes.
 
Gender stratification has placed more men
in positions of influential economic, social
and political importance.
 There are a few female sexes in high-
ranking social, economic and political
positions. Males have more decision making
power than females
