Strategic Goal 1: Implement Effective strategic, data-based systems that efficiently and equitably support instruction and operations Strategy Accomplishments Next Steps 1.1 Develop administrators skill sets for strategic priority setting for improved efficiency and effectiveness Traughber) Working with MOREnet and Ed-Fi to work through the grant process, looking at Educational Analytics as a vendor Data Governance continuing to work on location data Revisiting the focus for next year evaluating data systems and key data needs (ex. data governance; data visualization; data platforms) focusing on the interconnections of the data systems throughout the district (Matt 1.2 Develop internal capacity for using data systems for gathering and analyzing data (Matt Traughber) 5

Strategic Goal 2: Optimize resources to equitably support students to meet their greatest potential Strategy Accomplishments Next Steps 2.1 Identify the resources each department utilized to accomplish its mission (Mollie Bolton) Strategy completed Monitoring if there is a further need to support the work of 2.2 2.2 Develop data-based processes to determine the effective distribution of resources (Alan Wheat) Working to include the financials into the process (materials, release time, extra duty pay) Looking at staffing factors (education level and longevity) Continue to gather the data and analyze for stable patterns Connect this to our action steps and efficient 6

Strategic Goal 3: Create a multi-channel communication strategy that enables two-way communication and improves relationships across stakeholder groups Strategy Accomplishments Next Steps 3.1 Establish relationships with businesses, agencies, and other community stakeholders that will support student success. (Andi Harping) Finished analyzing surveys Leverage partner feedback from the partner meeting (partners are potential employers; welcoming workplace for people with disabilities) Reviewed collaborative tools we have Continued working on FAQs for partners Define partnerships more explicitly Finalizing FAQs to use for onboarding Matching collaboration tools with the needs identified in the survey and look for gaps 3.2 Engage with families (Adrienne Eaglin) Two new members Leigha Wetters from Hazelwood and Ashley O Toole from MTSS team Technology vetted the IEP storage tools and determined they were not secure enough Updated the point of contact process for next year with the new dates Reach out to districts that had lower scores on the Panaroma survey data to help support action planning (ongoing) Finalizing the New to SSD family resource 3.3 Establish communications system among departments and with staff at all levels. (Chantal Chandler) Worked on a resource for district level leaders for dissemination of communication and guidelines for this communication- prioritizing communication based on impact Finalize the resource for DLT presentation Review newsletter use and distribution Revisit theory of change for revisions 7

CSIP Goal 1: Proactively plan for student success Strategy Accomplishments Next Steps Graduation follow analysis was completed using the SSD defined post-school outcomes results shared with ED of SSD schools Collaborated with IEP pilot to create streamlined approach to incorporating Charting the Life Course into IEP writing Trained all transition facilitators in the new process to incorporate in IEP meetings can model through the IEP process Determined that FACE and the IDD Gateway Family Navigation will the tools for community resources to promote with families 1.1 Prepare students with the skills and planning needed for positive post-school or program outcomes (Tami Yates/Casey Wisdom) Review the SPED process modules and to see what updates may need to be made with the Charting the Life Course pieces Creating an alternative Self-determination survey for more complex learners Developing resources and tools for more complex learners for charting the life course to gather student voice Develop training for the Self-Determination Tiered Model after determining the assessment piece 1.2 Improve connections between student data and research based factors influencing student achievement to support proactive planning (Alan Wheat) Analyzing the data to see how DCI correlates to vacancy rates/longevity impact as compared to student success measures- which is most critical in determining early warnings Continue to work on the prototype 1.3 Engage in collaborative planning with partners. (Chaketa Moore) Beginning to discuss focus groups and identifying the stakeholders for the focus groups Looking at existing data sources to ensure it has the information that it has the information needed to make decisions Looking at existing relationships to see how we can improve Team will be working this summer to finalize the data needed Plan out and begin the focus groups Looking at communication plans to ensure we have a comprehensive and consistent approach 9

CSIP Goal 2: Align and coordinate decision making to provide student supports that are consistent with the District s mission Strategy Accomplishments Next Steps 2.1 Develop a shared understanding of the purpose that provides clarity for programming decisions pursed across teams (Kelly Grigsby) Subgroups reported out on best practices for programming in their assigned disability area Will continue to review the research and determine the common terminology that would be implemented district programming. wide around 2.2 Ensuring programming is based in evidence- based practices (Mollie Bolton) Subcommittee is continuing to work on the Core Resource guide. Finalizing the Evidence-based Practice Tool guide Promote the Evidenced based tools in the back- to-school orientations and through the weekly district newsletters Complete the core resource guide and solicit feedback Monitor the use and solicit feedback for the Evidence based tools and make adjustments as needed 10

CSIP Goal 3: Create learning environments and systems that are responsive to the experiences of highly mobile students their families and the staff who serve them Strategy Accomplishments Next Steps 3.1 Provide strong continuity of service/instruction for students experiencing school changes (Kevin Andert) Analyzed journey maps and identified trends/best practices/opportunities for improvement Identified follow up steps (journey mapping for SSD schools and transitioning from the SSD schools/homebound/Purchase of Service) Follow up with additional groups and create maps Revisit the theory of change based on the information from the mapping Formalize a process (within the district; within the county) 11
