It seems like some people enjoy it and have a good time with it, but others at times develop hard feelings about it. I'm pretty neutral. I don't overly enjoy it or dislike it either. It's nice to get together outside of work I think this is a really great event for staff to bond So fortunate to have board that is willing to coordinate these types of events for our staff! I think most people just enjoy socializing outside of school. I think games could be fun, but not necessary. Music is fine, but probably not necessary either. I'd play games if others wanted to and if people don't want to play games, then I'm fine socializing too. These evenings have always been fun! I am not picky-just nice to relax and visit with staff and their families. seemed stiff this year board needs to be more engaged instead of trying to cook. As a board member it is my time to talk to staff in a unprofessional setting and i feel i didn't get that chance with very many this year. Seating was too stiff and maybe too distanced. Thank you for planning this fun event for us every year! I love an opportunity to get together and have fun. I think the game options you offered above sound great- thank you for the thought you've put into this! Would like coffee Thank you for the nice dinner and time to visit! I see that everyone enjoyed being there at the party. Thank you! Thank you for planning these events every year!! I enjoy coming. The only suggestion I have is maybe a different table setup. It was hard to visit with the set up this time. I just enjoy spending time with my coworkers! Even if we aren t doing anything but visiting with each other. The winter social is always a fun time! The set up felt to formal as we were so spread out it fel you could only talk the the people next to you and not as a group. It s so nice to have anything at all. I would try any of the activities above or just have supper and visit. I don t want it to be a lot of work for anyone. Not sure there s ever a perfect time for everyone or the perfect activities. A very nice gesture. Adding to my answer above, I had fun coming up with my gift, and I am sad I was not there! I really enjoy the themes and dressing up! I know they are a lot to plan for, but maybe have more events throughout the year? They do not even have to be big ones (as they can be pricey). I would be willing to even put my entrance fee to enjoy activities. It would be nice to socialize more outside of work :) . Just couldn t go because I had a baby. lol! Food was great! I enjoyed myself. Thank you Nice to get together and have a few drinks, don't need entertained The seating arrangement at this one wasn't the best. It made it hard to talk to people.
