Faithfully Living with Courage and Commitment 2 Timothy 2 Timothy 4:1-5 6 For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; 8 in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.

This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed; 26 for the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

If we are to finish the course well, we must consider our future (4:8) A.To finish well we must look forward to meeting the Lord, the righteous Judge. (Anticipation) B.
