With a vista of deep blue sea, rugged beaches
and lush green valleys, The Beacon is set in 280
acres on the Lee Abbey estate within Exmoor
National Park. The centre overlooks our own
private beach, where the rolling moor land
changes dramatically to wooded valleys which
sweep down to the sea.
The Beacon is surrounded by an abundance of
wildlife, trees and plants and is approached
through the dramatic setting of the Valley of
Rocks - home to one of the oldest herds of feral
goats in the country.

Nearby Lynmouth has a tiny harbour with
white-washed thatched cottages in a
spectacular location, known as 'Little
Switzerland'.

The Beacon was built in 2003 on the site of a former
dairy barn complex and the impressive original beams
are an integral part of the construction. The Beacon is
equipped to a very high standard providing a
welcoming and attractive environment for our guests.
