WELCOME TO YEAR 4! We are so happy to have you back!
TALK TO YOUR PARTNER Tell them three things that you enjoyed over the summer holidays. Label yourselves A and B. I will tell you when it s time to swap. Don t forget to make eye-contact with your partner and face them to show that you are listening.
WHAT THINGS ARE THE SAME ABOUT YEAR 4? Ms Nazir! Same children! All of the same subjects Still have Outdoor Learning with Mrs Duke We sit with our talk partner all week and then we swap Handwashing! (but not quite so often!)
WHAT THINGS ARE DIFFERENT ABOUT YEAR 4? New teachers Miss Russell, Mrs Duke and Miss Begum We have a new classroom (the biggest and best in the school!) We now sit in rows New playground Different times for playtime and lunchtime, plus slightly different rules (we can now mix bubbles!) PE will be with me, Miss Russell!

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE THINGS THAT WE MUST NOT DO IN THE PLAYGROUND TO STAY SAFE? No chasing, racing and play-fighting games No football Everyone must stand still and be silent when the bell rings
WHAT HAPPENS WITH OUR DOJOS ON A FRIDAY? We move up the dojo mountain and add up our totals- we decide if we want to use our rewards or keep going to 10,000 for a film and popcorn If we get the most dojos in the school, we choose a dojo monster We reset our dojos to 0 to try again next week!
