BOGGLE You have TWO minutes to make as many words as you can from these letters: T E D A C O G K
WORD LADDERS Choose a starting word. Make a list of words you can only change one letter each time you make a new word: Bike Like Lime Starting Words: Bat Cake Dog How many words can you make?
WHAT AM I? Sit in a circle. You will be given a Post-It note with something on it DON T LOOK! Stick it on your head. Take it in turns to ask a YES or NO question about what you could be. Example questions: Am I living? Am I a piece of furniture? Can you eat me? etc.
2 TRUTHS AND A LIE On your Post-It note write down 2 things about yourself that are TRUE and one thing that is FALSE. Everyone has to guess which fact is a lie. Example: 1. I speak Spanish 2. I love my job 3. I don t like chocolate
3 FACTS Write down 3 facts about yourself that people might not know The aim of the game is to guess which facts belong to each person! Example: I have a pet cat My favourite fruit is strawberry I sleep walk
PASS THE BOMB Pass the bomb around when you have the bomb you need to say a word which has certain letters in it. Be careful that the bomb doesn t go off when it s in your hands! Words with: AT AL LE
WOULD YOU RATHER? Simple answer the questions Would you rather ???? See separate PPT for questions OR Make up your own questions
ENGLISH JENGA Jenga with an English twist. Each time you take out a Jenga block, you have to answer the question written on it before you put it on top. If you get the question wrong or can t answer it keep the block.
