University Library Systems have evolved from traditional roles of collecting and preserving to a more dynamic role of creating and exploring, as seen in the case of CR/10 at the University of Pittsburgh. Librarians are now taking on new responsibilities such as creating unique collections, collaborating with faculty, and utilizing digital scholarship projects. This shift highlights the impact of librarians in adapting to change and embracing new opportunities for collaboration and innovation.
