  2. READING: A NEWSPAPER ARTICLE Please, read newspaper headlines A-D, p88, Student s book. Now, please do exercise 2, p88 match two pieces of information to each of the headlines A-D. Atfer that, please do exercise 2, p88 true/false sentences. Correct the false ones.

  3. VOCABULARY: GUESSING MEANING FROM THE CONTEXT Sometimes, you don t have to know the exact meaning of every word to understand the complete article or story. Sometimes, you can guess the meaning of a word by: a) Knowing what type of word it is (noun, verb, adjective, etc.) b) Understanding the general meaning of a word and the rest of the sentence.
