  4. Lay it on the Line We will be doing this activity in silence. After the statement is read, silently move your body to the place in the room that you feel best represents your opinion. The facilitator will not be answering questions about the statements.

  5. Reflect on a story thats related to where you are currently positioned When did you first come to notice this topic? What were you doing? Where were you? Who were you with? Have you personally experienced a challenge or opportunity related to this subject? Has someone you know? What do you feel when you hear this statement?

  6. Sorting, Grouping, Synthesizing Reminders: How can you practice these skills while listening? Open Ended Questions Encouragers Footprint When it s your turn to share a story, please share what you reflected on. Silence You are not being asked to respond to the story you just heard. If this is challenging it s alright! You can focus on the one skill you identified earlier.
