The Energy Efficiency Management Office (EEMO) has established regulations for the labelling of regulated machinery, including electrical appliances like refrigerators, electric ovens, dishwashers, and more. Dealers are required to affix labels on machines before sale, with enforcement starting from July 1, 2017. Registration with EEMO involves a test report and payment verification process, with certificate issuance valid for 2 years. Applicable standards for machinery are specified, and importers/distributors have responsibilities towards ensuring compliance with the regulations.
