  1. ENCOURAGEMENT TO PRAISE GOD

  2. MEMORY VERSE: Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands, (Psalm 66:1). TEXT: Psalms 64:1-10; 65:1-13; 66:1-20; 67:1-7; 68:1-35

  3. INTRODUCTION God deserves our praises! What is praise? Praise is a way of showing respect, adoration, appreciation and gratitude to the Almighty God. King David who wrote the Psalms shows us the example of why and how we should praise God!

  4. WHY MUST WE PRAISE GOD? We must praise God because: i. The Bible commands that everything that has breath should praise the Lord ii. Of His unfailing mercies, love, healing, provision and daily care; iii.God saved us and we became His children; iv.Of His greatness, holiness, dominion and beauty.

  5. WE CAN PRAISE GOD BY: i. Bowing our heads and knees a sign of humility. ii. Singing praises to God with our mouth. iii.Clapping and lifting up our holy hands and heart (Psalm 47:1). iv.Sharing the testimony of our salvation. v. Preaching the gospel and sharing the love of Jesus with others. HOW CAN WE PRAISE GOD?

  6. BLESSINGS FOR PRAISING GOD When you praise God, the following blessings will be yours: i. Healing and deliverance from the enemy. ii. Answers to prayers. iii. Success in your examination. iv. Divine provision. v. Victory and eternal life in heaven

  7. a) Paul and Silas: They worshipped and praised God in their chains were broken. b) The Israelites: The walls of Jericho fell flat while praising God. c) Jesus healed ten lepers but only one came back to thank Jesus. d) Jehoshaphat and the children of Israel: They praised God and had victory over their enemies. Are you born again? If not, you can pray now and tell Jesus that you are sorry for your sins and ask Him to forgive you and wash you with His blood. the prison and PEOPLE THAT PRAISED GOD IN THE BIBLE
