E-Cigarettes in Local Stop Smoking Services Case Study: North and West Northamptonshire
E-cigarettes were introduced in stop smoking services in North and West Northamptonshire in 2019 to increase quit rates and reduce costs. Securing a provider with no industry links led to successful implementation despite difficulties in accessing and storing products in vape stores. The current offer includes various e-cig options resulting in impressive quit rates. Vaping has been a key component of the service's transformation, yielding excellent results and cost savings.
