DRAFT FY 2022 Operating Budget - Preview September 22, 2021 Campus Forum
FY 2022 BUDGET UPDATES University of Hawaii absorbed a 9% general fund reduction. Budget Proposal Assumes UH will NOT prorate the 9% general fund reduction to Community Colleges and will adhere to the Legislative appropriation of a 3% reduction for UHMC. Assuming 12% enrollment decline (-$690,000). FY 2021 stringent expenditure plan applied to FY 2022, limited travel, student help casual and operating budgets. Necessary increases to the lecturer, apprenticeship, sign language interpreter budgets.
FY 2022 BUDGET UPDATES Budget Proposal includes filling of 17 additional position along with the 6 positions that the college agreed to fill in April 2021.
