  2. LOCATION Laos is 17 degrees 57' North, and 102 degrees 36' East. Laos is in the center of southeast Asia, next to the gulf of Tonkin. Laos is bordered by Thailand, Burma, China, Vietnam and Cambodia.

  3. PLACE Laos is a mountainous country, especially in the North. The nearby regions of Laos is China, Cambodia, Burma, Thailand, and Vietnam.

  4. MOVEMENT The transportations is Lao airplanes and Lao airports. Most people would move to Laos for the exotic adventures and beautiful nature. Most people would leave Laos because of the tourism industry (or those who deal with foreigners) are unfriendly and dishonest. The exports of Laos is rough wood, sawn wood, broad casting accessories, refined copper, and copper ore. The imports of Laos is cars, delivery trucks, refined petroleum, animal food, pasta, iron structures, gold and poultry meat.

  5. REGION Laos has three distinct seasons: hot, wet and dry. The hot seasons is March to may, the temperature can reach 104 degrees F and 40 degrees C. wet seasons is in early May to October, the temperature is comfortable from May through July. while winter, freezing temperatures are not uncommon. Language: Lao, French, English and others. Culture: 67% Buddhism, 1.5% Christian, 31.5% other. Economy: market exchange economy.

  6. HUMAN-ENVIRONMENT INTERACTION Recently, researchers have told us that the most noticeable changes in the weather have been the number of hot days, with higher temperatures and the number of cold days are decreasing. They say it's caused by the pressures on natural resources and the environment. 80% of the population live in rural villages, because Laos is very mountainous. The economy is market exchange, because it easily trades with a lot of the regions next to it.
