Work Breakdown Structure 1/6 Plant A DEMO WBS has been created to: strengthen Project Management in the project and, aid development of an integrated DEMO schedule in FP9. The WBS captures all work that will be undertaken on the project. Project Execution Plan (PEP) 1/4 Each WP has a PEP broken down into the below sections: Section 1 Project Description Section 2 WBS Section 3 Gantt Chart, Milestones and Deliverables Section 4 Facilities, Industrial Involvement and International Collaboration Section 5 - Budget The PEP has intentionally been kept at a higher level therefore if you have detailed questions then please address these questions to the WP Leads. Project Execution Plan (PEP) 2/4 Example WPBB WBS, Gantt Chart and Milestones WBS-BB.S System Design Requirements, Design, Analyses, Integration and development of design tools for the PB analysed in the WPBB. This element contains the tasks related to the System Engineering (i.e. System Requirements, Interface Management and Risk Analysis for the whole BB Project) Design activities (Blanket System Design and TER) of the different PBS elements considered in the BB Project Design activities for the HCPB BB System intended as in-vessel components, including the connecting pipes of the coolant and purge system up to the VV. Design activities for the HCPB TER System intended as ex-vessel component including the piping system that interface at level of VV the BB System and at level of the Tritium Building the Fuel Cycle System. The system includes the He purge loop with the He removal system and the relative auxiliary systems that recover tritium for the Fuel Cycle. Design activities for the WCLL BB System intended as in-vessel components, including the connecting pipes of the coolant and PbLi Loop up to the VV. In particular MHD analyses of the effects of magnetic field transients due to off-normal events as plasma disruptions and coils fast discharge. Design activities for the WCLL TER System intended as ex-vessel component including the piping system that interface at level of VV the BB System and at level of the Tritium Building the Fuel Cycle System. The system includes the PbLi loop with the T extraction units and the relative auxiliary systems that recover T for the Fuel Cycle. WPDES The WPDES assists the DEMO Central Team (DCT). The WPDES Call for Participation will be done in terms of profiles rather than task specifications. The example profiles shown in the next slides will be included as an annex in the Call for Participation. The WPDES manpower is envisaged to increase year on year.
