DATA SCIENCE AT CAROLINA
The pursuit of data science at Carolina spans from 2012 to 2022, showcasing a rich history of initiatives and collaborations aimed at advancing data studies curriculum, genomic data stewardship, research data management, and the establishment of data science schools and institutes. Engaging over 80 participants in weekly meetings and various subcommittees, the initiative has made significant strides in fostering a culture of data-driven innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
