Here’s your work for today:

Let’s start the day by being…
English

Do you remember at the beginning of the year when we
were looking at ‘Hansel and Gretel? We imagined that
Gretel came into our classroom and we thought of
questions that we could ask her.
•
Today you are going to imagine that Superworm is going
to visit you (in your garden from a distance, of course!)
You need to think of questions that you could ask him
.
You can ask Superworm questions about anything that you like!
Examples could be:
•
How he felt when he was captured by the servant crow,
•
What his favourite food is,
•
What he likes doing to relax…
My question is:
Do you sing a special song with the bees while
you are skipping?
Don’t forget that all of your questions need to start with a capital
letter and finish with a question mark.
Superworm is definitely a superhero as he helps so many
other characters in the story.
Every superhero needs a costume! I would like you to design
a costume for Superworm to wear.

Outdoor Activity
Every day I am going to give you an activity
that can be carried out either outdoors, (if
the sun is shining) or indoors (if we’re not as
lucky as the weather!).
I would like you to collect natural resources
to make a magic flower or wand.
If you were a wizard, what would you do?
PSHE
Talking to the people in our household is always a
good thing to do and helps us to understand some
of the new things that are happening in our lives
at the moment.
Today I would like you to read Dr Dog’s story
where he explains Coronavirus.
Now think about this question:
How many ways can you remember
for us to keep ourselves and others
safe?
