E Governance connecting cyber media & development E-GOVERNANCE: 1) In simple terms, electronic governance or smart governance is the delivery of public services and information at the doorstep of the people with the help of computers. 2) E-governance can play the role of a catalyst for sustainable inclusive growth. 3) E-governance uses the Information Communication Technologies (ICT) for planning, implementation, and monitoring of government programmes.

  4. 4) Through e-governance, government can carry out effective Management Information System (MIS) and get real time information and reports of activities at the Block level. 5) E Governance has helped to achieve several goals Automation, Information and Transformation leading to e-Administration - Improving government processes : e-Citizens - Connecting citizens and e-Services: e-Society - Building interactions with and within civil society.
