Current Public Opinion on the Affordable Care Act (ACA)
Public opinion on the Affordable Care Act (ACA) remains divided since its passage, with increasing negativity seen after the Marketplace rollout. While some favor the law, there are deep partisan divisions on its favorability. A majority prefers that Congress work to improve the ACA rather than repeal and replace it. Awareness of ACA provisions lags behind favorability for most elements included in the law.
