GSSM #11 Report Topics discussed during GISFI #11 Deliverables CSeON objectives and draft charter was presented. Emergency Telecom Services TR text was approved. Carrier Grade Cloud Computing TR text was approved. Information Management TR focus presentation was discussed. SID+TOGAF+Frameworx for setting up an effective Enterprise Business Architecture. Library Use case for Cloud Computing was discussed. Document was not uploaded after the meeting. CSeON Business Case presentation was discussed. Liaisons IEEE P1903 - Done IETF IAB, TEC (I & NGN), IEEE-SA India In Progress Preparatory meeting for GSSM#11 (Minutes circulated and approved)
Between GSSM #11 and GSSM#12 Communication with IEEE-SA Emergency Warning Systems (EWS) Study Group (2ndJan 13) Syam Madanapalli shared the IEEE-SA perspective on EWS GISFI CSeON studied the input material. GISFI CSeON WG formulated the following working method with IEEE-SA MoU with IEEE-SA India Joint project on Common Emergency System (CES) topic. Also formally work on other topics with IEEE-SA India. Conference Call on Emergency Telecom Services (27th Feb 13) Discussed areas for contributions. Initiated call for contributions from GISFI members towards this topic. Preparatory meeting for GSSM#12 (8thMar 13 - Minutes circulated for review) Discussed CSeON Topic overall focus areas and work strategy. Identified the need for the topic Mobility for Cloud

Strategy for 2013 (Suggestion) Produce baseline version of the common TRs like TR1, TR2 and TR3 mapped based on the NTP 2012 objective and strategy. Provide TR1, TR2 & TR3 as approach paper for TEC/TRAI towards the Convergence objective and strategy defined in NTP 2012. Contribute India specific Convergence requirements and Standards inputs to International SDOs like ITU- T, IEEE-SA, 3GPP. Provide Rel 1 of all other TRs. Close TRs which are not in scope. Study specific topics like VoIP as new WI. Setup better working relationships with other SDOs (IEEE-SA) through MoU and joint projects.
