Comprehensive Overview of UNRMS Framework and Principles
UNRMS (UN Resource Management System) aims to promote sustainable resource management globally through innovative frameworks and principles. It encompasses various natural resources and supports sustainability at different scales. Stakeholders can use it to assess projects against environmental, social, and economic objectives, ensuring long-term considerations and compliance with regulations. The system emphasizes resource recovery, value addition, circularity, core competencies, and capabilities strengthening. Health and safety, innovation, transparency, and sustainability are key components. Events like "Resource Management Week 2024" highlight the importance of sustainability in resource management. Discover how UNRMS connects with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for a comprehensive approach.
