An example Write < > or = to compare the number sentences A. 11 + 7 = > 19 4 11 + 7 = 18, 19 4 = 15 18 is more than 15 B. 16 9 = < 3 + 6 16 9 = 7, 3 + 6 = 9 7 is less than 9 C. 15 + 4 = = 20 1 15 + 4 = 19, 20 1 = 19 19 is equal to 19
