2. COMPARATIVES -er Adjective or Adverb that is used to show that someone or something has more, less or equal quality than someone or something else. SUPERIORITY EQUALITY INFERIORITY The adjective is followed by than You can use the conjunctions not as as or less than You can use the conjunctions as as EX: Brazil is bigger than Chile EX: Los Angeles is as big as New York. EX: Chile is not as big as Brazil. EX 2: Mexico is less rich than United States
