Clark College offers a variety of transferable and non-transferable degrees. The most common transfer degree pursued by Running Start students is the AA/DTA or general transfer degree.   1. Degree Options and Worksheets The various degree worksheets and how to find them

  2. Clark College has many degrees that are either transferable or non-transferable. The different degrees offered at Clark College If you want to attend a four year university to earn a bachelor s degree, then you want a transferable degree from Clark. If you know what technical career or trade you want to work in and do not intend to transfer to a university, then a non-transferable degree is what you want to pursue. Knowing what degree type you want is important because it is what you will base your courses on.

  3. AA/DTA or general transfer degree is the most common degree that RS students pursue because it works best with the HS degree requirements. The biology, business, and Pre-Nursing transfer degrees are some degrees that RS students can also obtain within the time frame of the program, but it is imperative that you meet with an academic advisor to create a education plan that works for both the HS and degree Most common degrees that Running Start students pursue Associate of Science tracks 1 and 2, the former is for chemistry, environmental science, biology, etc, and the latter is primarily for engineering and computer science majors. These degrees are difficult to complete during the two years of RS due to the amount of HS requirements that do not apply to the AST1 or 2. They also require edibility to calculus in order to progress.

  4. To find the most common RS degree worksheets, student should visit the Running Start webpage and select current students button. Then select Degree Planning Worksheets drop down menu. Where to find the degree worksheets To find all of the degrees offered at Clark College, students should visit www.clark.edu/advisingand then select the Program Worksheets button. Select the academic year you began at Clark College and then the program worksheet you wish to view.
