Introduction to the Team Four full time Child Protection Co-ordinators Stacey Burdsey Donna Parke Catherine Ufoma Aneta Wasilewska Usha Chauhan Kathi Gittens, Assistant Director and Darren McAughtrie, Corporate Director of Adult Care and Quality Standards.
Service Snapshot 314 children on a child protection plan in Waltham Forest The team covers 6 Assessment Teams, 6 Safeguarding Teams and 5 Corporate Parenting teams Average between 15 20 conferences a week Each Child Protection Co-Ordinator is allocated between 70 95 children on Child Protection Plan.

CP Safeguarding The business support function who support the work of the Child Protection conferencing service Located in the Meeting and Events service Responsible for the administration of child protection conferences

Exercise One Based on the idea of Appreciative Inquiry: Get into small groups (3 or 4 people) Thinking about your own experiences of child protection conferences, Tell us what has worked well What did you or others do to that was helpful? What did you appreciate?
