What level of expertise are records professionals required to have at your institution? Are they required to gain further skills? Are they supported financially in any kind of professional development?
Are you familiar with the Records Management Liaison Officer (RMLO) or Records Manager on your campus? Do you have one? If so, how do you work together?
How do you work with records creators or records gatekeepers at your institution to ensure smooth record transfers?
By what means do records make their way to the archive? Does this happened through scheduled transfers or more ad hoc efforts?
What kind of outreach do you do to engage or connect with your records community?
Is records management a part of the onboarding and offboarding process at your institution? If so, how?
What technologies are at your disposal for managing electronic records at your institution? What trainings have you been able to have on these or other technologies?
What is your relationship with IT and how does that affect your ability to retrieve/access/transfer records at your institution?
How do campus or library/department priorities impact records management activities/collecting at your institution? Is there dedicated funding for records management where you work?
