The Cities of Waterloo, and Cedar Falls have a number of listed properties on the United States National Registar associated with Civil War, Civil Rights and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Iowans statewide are being asked to join us for a special Iowa Civil Rights Awards for this year s volunteers and to help recognize and pay tribute to Dr. King and wife Coretta Scott King 60th Anniversary of visiting Iowa.
